Biomechanical approach

Integrated deep tissue massage®

The objective of this course is a better understanding of the structural relationships of the human body. This course is designed to allow the participant to develop an in-depth knowledge of integrated deep tissue massage and its effectiveness in resolving chronic musculoskeletal imbalances in a clinical environment. The course also seeks to help alleviate problems of chronic pain due to adhesions and misalignments of the human body structure. The course focuses on the practical application of this modality, in addition to addressing theoretical notions of integrated deep tissue massage, indications and contraindications as well as the associated anatomy and physiology.

Prerequisites

Massage Therapy diploma (400 hours minimum) or chiropractor, physiotherapist, osteopath, kinésiologue or physical rehabilitation therapist, ergothérapeute, and upon presentation of proof of title
