Thai oil massage – Level 2

In this level 2 course, students will improve the various touch techniques unique to Thai oil massage; they are both precise and enveloping, while honing their understanding of the energy network (Sen Sip) that has been explored in level 1. To meet the therapeutic needs of their clientele, students will have to master this approach more in depth, by learning new advanced maneuvers, specific acupressure points and more complex movements.

Prerequisites

Thai oil massage – level 1

Course objectives

To adequately perform the new maneuvers specific to the practice of Thai oil massage (relating to level 2).
To improve the use of different touch techniques (hands, thumbs, forearms, and elbows).
To use and integrate more complex movements (stretching, mobilizations and traction).
To deepen the understanding of the three main energy lines and identify their therapeutic functions.
To integrate the different pressure points that allow therapeutic relief in connection with specific tensions and blockages.
